Retro Game Music In Your Browser - ChipTune.app

A Trip Down Memory Lane with Chiptune.app
I recently stumbled across a rather brilliant little website called Chiptune.app, and if you grew up playing games on 8-bit and 16-bit machines, it’s well worth a visit.
The site is essentially a huge collection of music from gaming history, covering an impressive range of platforms and systems. Browsing through it feels a bit like opening an old box of games and suddenly being transported back 30 years.

There’s a particularly good selection of Amiga music, which immediately brought back memories of loading games from floppy disks and listening to those wonderfully distinctive MOD soundtracks. But it doesn’t stop there. There are plenty of classic Sega and Nintendo tunes too, along with music from many other platforms and games.
Some of these tracks are instantly recognisable, while others had me thinking, “I remember that tune… when did I last play that game?” — which is probably half the fun.
For anyone interested in retro gaming, computers, or video game music, Chiptune.app is a fantastic nostalgia trip. It’s the sort of site where you can sit down for five minutes and suddenly realise an hour has disappeared.
Definitely worth a visit.
